A Few Quick Words
Hey, all! Thank you so much for taking the time to drop by. This website represents a collection of artifacts spanning the course of my career as an administrator, instructional coach, teacher, student and lifelong learner. If you have any questions or might be interested in connecting for some professional dialogue, my contact information can be found below.
A few quick words about myself:
My name is David Knapp, and currently, I serve as the Director of Technology and Innovation in the Loveland City School District in Loveland, Ohio (where I also live with my lovely wife, Julie, our soon-to-be baby and our two cats and two dogs). As the Director of Technology and Innovation, I serve as a resource to teachers, administrators and students in providing leadership in the areas of teaching and learning, professional development and in all things leading to what I hope to be an engaging and powerful educational experience for both our students and staff. In previous roles, I have held positions as a Technology Instructional Coach and 9th grade science teacher both within the Hamilton City School District, along with an assortment of other (all education focused) roles sprinkled in the mix. I am proud to have earned Masters degrees in both Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, as well as Instructional Technology from the University of Nebraska Kearney. Most recently I earned my superintendent license from Miami University, and I hope to continue my education there in the summer of 2018 with my pursuit of my Ed.D.
I am passionate about learning and the continuous improvement of the institution of education. It is my hope that this site gives you some insight as to what drives me as an educator, what I am most passionate about, and what I hope to achieve.
Thanks again for stopping by.
